The guides are signed by Max Bryselbout. I explain how Medley works and the different ways to collect photos from an event.

Why I built Medley

After a wedding or birthday, everyone goes home with their own photos. Collecting the others often means asking several times and searching through conversations.

Medley gives everyone a shared place to contribute. Guests open the album, add their photos and see those taken by others, without installing an app or creating an account.

Product choices

I built Medley around sharing easily, knowing who can access the album and being able to retrieve the files.

• A link for guests. The QR code opens the album in a browser. A first name signs contributions, and a technical identifier lets guests find them on the same device. Anyone with the link can open the album, so share it with the intended people.
• Information about storage. The hosting and GDPR page describes hosting, file access and privacy settings.
• Content that remains yours. Your files are used to display the album and make downloads available. The legal notice and privacy policy describe the service commitments.
• A copy to keep. Download the complete album to save the files on your own devices. The album is kept for 2 years on the Event plan; an album still on trial is deleted 30 days after the event date (or after its creation, if the album has no event date or one earlier than its creation), and no later than one year after its creation.

What you can do with Medley

Collect photos and videos, download them together, open a guest book and show a slideshow. The QR sign maker helps prepare the QR code for the tables. Offer details are on the pricing page. The free trial accepts 20 photos or videos until 30 days after the event (one year at most), with every feature included; the Event plan, at 39 € once (launch price until December 31, 2026; 49 € for new purchases from January 1, 2027), includes 100 GB of storage per album with no limit on the number of photos and videos and keeps it for 2 years.
