How long is the album kept?

The album is kept for 2 years on the Event plan; an album still on trial is deleted 30 days after the event date (or after its creation, if the album has no event date or one earlier than its creation), and no later than one year after its creation. The original files of every photo and video are kept with the album and delivered in the ZIP archive, on the trial as on the Event plan.

Download the album after your event so you have your own copy.

Your photos are stored with OVH in France. The album link stays between you and the people you share it with.

What does the free trial include?
Everything Medley does: QR code and printable sign, live slideshow, written, voice and video guestbook, and a complete download with the original files. The trial accepts 20 photos or videos in total, enough to try the album with a few friends before the event. No card details are required.
What happens to the album when the trial ends?
If it is still on trial, it is deleted 30 days after the event date (or after its creation, if the album has no event date or one earlier than its creation), and no later than one year after its creation, along with its photos and videos. We email you 5 days before. Move to Event before the deadline to keep everything, or download the ZIP archive.
What happens when the trial reaches 20 photos or videos?
New uploads are turned away, and everything already in the album stays there. Move to Event to reopen uploads with no file count limit, within 100 GB of storage per album.
What is the storage limit?
The Event plan includes 100 GB of storage per album, shared by photos, videos and the guestbook. There is no file count limit. Once storage is full, new uploads are refused; existing content remains available to view and download.
Is it a subscription?
No. The Event plan costs 39 € including tax, once per event, with no automatic renewal. Only the organiser pays: guests never pay or need an account.
Can I download the original files?
The original files of every photo and video are kept with the album and delivered in the ZIP archive, on the trial as on the Event plan. Download the album after your event so you have your own copy.
Can I move to Event after the party?
Yes, as long as the album exists, that is until 30 days after the event (one year at most after its creation). Everything it holds is kept, original files included.
Is the guestbook included?

Yes, on the trial as on the Event plan. Guests can write a message, record up to two minutes of audio or leave a one-minute video, and these messages don’t count towards the trial’s 20 photos or videos. You choose whether messages are visible to everyone or just the organisers, and you can turn the guestbook off.

How does payment work?

You pay by card on Stripe’s secure payment page, and the invoice is emailed to you. Medley never sees or stores your card details.

What happens when the retention period ends?
The Event plan keeps the album for 2 years from the payment. We notify you before it ends: you can extend storage or download the complete album. Files aren’t deleted without notice.
My album was created before sales opened: do I have to pay?
No. Albums created before sales opened stay on the Event plan, free of charge, and are kept for at least two years after the event.
